Marysville Fire District is now recognized by Gallagher as a Best-in-Class employer. The district is a first-time recipient of the award, which honors excellence in supporting employees’ physical, emotional, career and financial well-being.

Marysville Fire District scored in the top quarter of midsize employers who participated in Gallagher’s 2021 Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey, based on performance in the following areas:

• Planning of benefits and compensation strategies
• Extent of the district’s well-being strategy
• Turnover rate for full-time employees
• Completion of a workforce engagement survey
• Use of an HR technology strategy and its level of sophistication
• Health plan premium increases or decreases at the most recent renewal
• Use of a communication strategy
